Universal Window Crank Shaft Extension and Door Latch Shaft Extension.

• Price listed is for one extension
How to install :
• Installation Instructions:  Remove stock door handle(s) and remove the armrest and door panel as required . Install crank shaft extension over existing shaft and tighten set screw(s) with a 1/8" hex head, allen wrench to 72-75 inch pounds. We recommend using Blue Lock-Tite on the set screw to prevent it from backing out.  As a note the set screw is made of  steel with at cone point for the best possible holding capacity. With proper torque the pointed end of the set screw(s) will bite to the steel shaft and ensure it won't loosen up over time
• Next,  re-install the door panel and push door handle on to the  shaft extension and tighten the set screw on the back side of the handle to keep it from sliding off of the shaft. (for set screw location see picture # 2 above)
• This product will extend your door handle shaft  by 5/8" (tolerence + 1/16") depending on the length of your existing shaft. If you need another 1/8" to 1/4" don't bottom out the extension on the original shaft when installing the extension and or if you need a little less extension, can grind down the existing shaft ... just be sure the set screw will properly engage the on the original shaft.

Additionally, we conducted destructive testing by inserting  a 24" steel pipe over the extension and attempted to break the welds... the result was, we twisted and destroyed the window regulator and the splined shaft remained attached to the tubing as designed. That is why we offer a LIFETIME warranty on our material and quality craftsmanship.
Return ：
If you return the item and the reason is "Too Long" I will charge a 20% fee for processing. I find that people are not reading the details of the product and expect a 1/4" extension which is impossible to make and it's costing me a lot of money. I can't be more upfront about the length of the extension.
