    Description

    Tram 1485 UHF 400-495 MHz Tunable, pre-tuned to 460 MHz, Base Fiberglass Antenna.
    High performance 200W power rating, low SWR & broad banded.
    This antenna is pre-tuned to 460 MHz, with 20 MHz bandwidth, so it will work well in 450-470 MHz range. To tune to another frequency adjust to specified lengths according to the provided adjusting chart.
    The radiator and coil are hermetically sealed in fiberglass tubing to assure low SWR in all weather.
    DC ground construction allows static dissipation for low noise ratio and maximum lightning protection.
    Vertical polarization with 50 Ohms impedance.
    Mast diameter accepted is 1 3/16" to 2 7/16"

    The Tram antennas are tuned by cutting the interior sections. The cutting instructions are very exacting by millimeters.
    Remove the set screw at the bottom by the SO239. Slide all the guts out the bottom. Separate the sections, then cut each section. You can always leave it a little long and re-tune after checking the antenna after a primary tune.
