Vintage 1970's Men's Blue Polyester Twill Two-Piece Suit Business Boho Hippie

This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's blue polyester two-piece suit.
The suit is made from a very soft blue polyester in a twill weave. The jacket is has a tailored 70's cut with wide lapels and pocket flaps and two-button front. The front of the jacket has two marbled blue synthetic buttons with three per cuff. It is partially lined in a blue synthetic fabric and the shoulders are lightly padded. The trousers are conservative in cut and flare only slightly towards the ankles and do not have cuffs. They close at the front via an internal button and tab, metal hook-and-eye closure and synthetic zipper. The waist, crotch and pockets are lined in an off-white cotton twill.
Both pieces are in used - but good - condition. There is a small spot on the shoulder of the jacket, which may launder out, and the inside of the waist lining of the trousers has some considerable staining from sweat and wear, however, neither of these appear to be major and should not affect the overall wear or use of the suit.
The jacket bears the brand, size, owner's information (which has been left blank), laundering, and a 1970's Union label. Trousers bear laundering and brand label, as well.
Jacket is marked as a US men's size 40 Long. No size appears to be marked on the trousers. Our measurements are as follow:

Front rise: 12.25"
Rear rise: 17"
Inseam: 27.75"
Outseam: 38"
Ankle width, laid flat: 10" (20" total around)
