This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's brown wool two-piece suit.
This suit is made from a soft brown and natural wool with subtle green bits woven in. In some light, the brown can appear grey, though it is predominantly brown in person, so please keep this in mind while purchasing! The jacket has a typical 70's cut with wide lapels and pocket flaps, two-button front and medium-height gorge. The front of the jacket has two dark brown synthetic wood buttons, as well as four per cuff. It is partially lined in light brown synthetic fabric and the shoulders are lightly padded. The trousers are also 70's in cut and flare slightly towards the ankles. They do not have cuffs at the ankles and close at the waist via an internal button and tab, metal hook-and-eye and synthetic zipper. The waist, pockets and crotch are all lined in off-white cotton twill.
Overall, the suit is in used, but very good condition. Neither piece appears to have any rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, etc., however they are both somewhat wrinkled from storage. We managed to launder a good deal of these wrinkles out, but a good professional pressing would make a major difference!
Jacket bears brand, laundering and 1970's Union labels. No size, region of origin or fabric content labels are present.
Neither piece appears to be marked for size. Our measurements are as follow:

Across chest, pit to pit, buttoned, laid flat: 20.5"
Across waist, buttoned, laid flat: 19.5"
Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 25"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 17.5"
Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 30.5"
Trousers-
Across waist, buttoned and zipped, laid flat: 17.5"
Front rise: 11.5"
Rear rise: 16.5"
Inseam: 29.5"
Outseam: 39.5"
Ankle width, laid flat: 10" (20" total around)
